Inspired by the area in and around Cape Town, and the Helderberg area around Somerset West, which is to the East of Cape Town. Both of these places have mountains hugging the town, home to many bird species that live alongside us as humans. Each crevice in each mountainside gives nesting and perching space. To many people in Cape Town and surrounding areas, pigeons are a nuisance. However, there are just as many people who think that the art found on the public walls are a nuisance. Both equally unfairly judged, and both equally beautiful and magical when perceived from a space of acceptance, love or appreciation.
