Titled as a rain prayer, this artwork aims to invoke rain, abundance and growth in our drought-ridden country. This landscape showing a sheep farm in the Kalahari, between Upington and Olifantshoek, becomes emblemic for me of our Kalahari, Karoo and Freestate landscapes where we need rain. This artwork is my prayer for this life source.
