Nearing the full moon, bird wings flapping, moonlight shining on the landscape of the farm…

This landscape includes symbols personal to me as an artist – the prickly pear bushes and windmill on the horizon is from my grandfather’s farm, the bird a symbol of freedom for me, and the moon a constant companion in my own cycles of growth and change. The pattern symbols were created intuitively with pen on paper, just like the leaves silhouetted by the moon.
