Artist inspiration: While in lockdown, I’m remembering walks, hikes, trips to the Hottentots Holland mountain range, to Stilbaai, the West Coast, and Cape Point Nature Reserve. This artwork was created by using photographs from those trips, and inspired by the fynbos, botany and ecology that feels so integral to my sense of place within those landscapes.
