Urbanization, agriculture and conservation are some of the universal issues that are hinted at in the Nuance series – this is more evident in some of the works than in others. In this work the city sprawl of Cape Town is depicted in dark brown and somewhat golden tones – alluding to the money and status involved with urban development.
