“Contemplating A Stone”
Indian ink and fineliner on watercolour paper
42 x 59.4 cm

A drawing inspired by land art created on Granger Bay, where I used a brush to paint a strip of water onto a flat rock, and then placing a stone/pebble at the end of the line. The intricate detail in the small twigs were created through a repetitive and meditative process of drawing, the creative process becomes a contemplation and prayer that continues the intention of the initial land art.
