This small sculpture seeks only to accentuate the beautiful shapes that we can see in nature, if we only take the time to notice them – this particular piece of wood not only resembles the shape of a brain, but also leads me to appreciate the actual intelligence behind design in the natural environment – from each piece of wood, branch, and leaf, to the intricate patterns on an insects wing or the spiral arrangement of a sunflower’s seeds.
