Land Art in South Korea, created when we travelled through their landscape as part of the Global Nomadic Art Project.
In August 2015, I travelled to South Korea to join YATOO artists in travelling through the landscape, creating land art and learning about their culture. We travelled from Gongju to Sejong, Danyang, Taebaek, Gangneung, Jeongseon, Yangpyeong, Anseong and back to Gongju where we lived at the wonderful residency house in the farm village Wongol.
View photographs of the work I created at the Geumgang Nature Art Centre in Gongju, based on the above land art and my response to travelling through the landscape, as inspiration: We are of Wood and Stone >>
